How To Take Care Of Your Horse/Dog?
Vet and Farrier/Groomer
Horses:
Click on the horse you need to care for. Below its stable avatar/personal image of your horse, there will be buttons, of which two are the "vet" and "farrier". Each costs 133 coins, as long as there's no problems. If there is a problem, it might be more and will reduce the horse's health.
This you will need to do once every 2 weeks. Try to not do it too early or late as you have a bigger chance of getting problems in your horse and paying more.
Dogs:
Click on the dog's name and scroll to the bottom of its page. There, you will find the links to "groom" and "vet" it. The costs are the same as the horses, 133 coins and it will also need to be done every 2 weeks.
Feeding or Boarding
This can be done in different ways, but these are the easiest. Unless you have very little coins, keep your animals boarded at your own stables/kennels, where you are in charge of their feed. To be able to feed them, you must first buy feed from the "General Store"
Horses:
Click on the horse that needs feeding, make sure the horse is boarded at your own stables (otherwise select "Home Stables" first).
Then you can click on the button below the horse that says "Feed Horse". If the horse is boarded at another stable, instead of clicking "Feed Horse" it will say "Pay Board" (the player who owns the boarding stable will have to feed your horse from their account)
Dogs:
For your dog, board them first at your own kennels. This you do by clocking the dog, scrolling down and selecting “Home Kennel” from the dropdown menu and then click on “Submit”
Then, you need to go to your kennel, NOT THE DOG'S PAGE, which you can find on your home page navigation bar. There, look at which dog needs feed, then click on "Add Feed".
{Hint: You only need to pay vet and farrier/groomer if you train your horses/dogs by entering them in shows, but you need to keep all animals fed, or they will be sent to the Humane Association. Once you transfer the animals to your retirement account, you only have to pay for feed, as they cannot enter shows after a retirement age. If you're worried about your lines getting deleted I suggest you bulk feed (meaning you feed your horses/dogs for 100+ days in advance). }
